Hello, Star Shine {Poetry}

hello star shine

spring breaks forth,
celebrating green
in splendor,
warmth oozes
down
her shivering,
vulnerable
heart.

grace brushes
her face,
leans in
close with
a whisper.

flower child,
you
must
trust
the arriving
of a vision
after hibernation,
for time
heals
feels
reels
you inside
your lofty
dreams.

alright,
she nods
with a
weary acceptance.
illumination,
an epic
light station,
delights in
her company,
firing up her
cold, damp wick,
and ice begins
to melt.

it’s all making
sense, now.
do you see?
applaud hard
dear friends.
let’s shout
praise upon praise,
for out of the ruins
of frigid black,
divinity is making
her whole.

it’s worthy
of taking note.
oh, the grandeur
of long-awaited
sunshine.
